A reversible, combination split rim wheel. Presenting, a heavy haulage steer wheel on one side & a heavy duty hub reduction hub on the other. Continental road tyres. Ideal for Scammell Contractor & other vehicles of that size.

To use as a `steer axle wheel` simply drill the hub reduction hub side to accept the steer stub axle. (In effect the hub now becomes the brake drum.) For a narrower track the hub may be sawn or sanded shorter before assembly.

To use for 'drive axles', in twin wheel format, simply sand the 'front wheel' nuts off & assemble two wheels 'face to face' with a hub reduction on each side. Drill the inner hub to mount the drive axle. Again the hub may be shortened before assembly to offer a narrower track.
